Sunnyside Up’s Location

Sunnyside Up is tucked into a corner of a 100-year-old family property, right in the heart of town, but in a residential area. You'll find a comfortable space to relax and unwind, with everything close by: just a 5-minute walk to the main bus stop, 5 minutes to the lake, and only 1 minute to Coaker's Walk.

Peaches and plum trees. Sweet, red strawberries. Birdsong. Bumblebees and hidden four-leaved clovers. And, of course, our resident ducks, always up to some mischief.

The room, and everything that comes with it

You’ll be staying in a separate building within our compound. It has a separate entrance so you have privacy, and can come and go as you please.

Your building has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and 1 sitting room with an indoor fireplace.

There is space to park within the compound.

  • A cozy, light-filled room that invites you to curl up with a good book and feel right at home.

    Two comfortable twin beds with duvets (as well as extra blankets in the cupboard) will keep you extra warm.

    • An electric kettle and a variety of teas for you to make yourselves a warm cuppa.

  • The bathroom has a western toilet, and a bucket bath with attached geyser. This room has a low ceiling, so if you're taller than 5'6", you'll have to mind your head!

  • Perfect for cozy evenings, whether you’re sharing stories, playing a game, or just unwinding with a warm cup of hot chocolate.
